The Little Town Too Big For One State

Situated on the border of Delaware and Maryland, Delmar's very beginning in 1859 was fostered by the business community of the area as a rail head for the Baltimore, Chesapeake & Atlantic Railway Co. The Greater Delmar Chamber of Commerce takes great pride in continuing that long tradition.

This website is dedicated to the People of Delmar who lived, worked, loved, built and created, sometimes against great odds, a unique community divided in name only by the Mason Dixon Line.

In sponsoring this site the Chamber seeks to position Greater Delmar and the business community, not only in it's emerging role as crossroads to the Delmarva Peninsula, but on the threshold of the 21st century.
