Chief Little Owl
The 26-foot carving that greets us as we enter Bethany Beach was sculpted by Dennis D. Beach, and put into place in the spring of 1994. Chief Little Owl, named for a chief of the Nanticoke Indians, represents a concept of an eagle protecting an Indian to its breast.
